WOODKIT Network · Activated by territory
Your space.Could become a WOODKIT Hub.
A WOODKIT Hub is a place where surfboard-building workshops become a repeatable activity for an existing community. You bring the space and the people. WOODKIT brings the system.

The place matters
It’s not an event.It’s a business line.
WOODKIT brings the workshop system, the kits and production, booking and payments, logistics and promotional support. An experienced instructor brings the build expertise and the teaching. The Hub brings the space, the community and local coordination — and turns it into a recurring activity in its own territory.
You don’t learn a wooden board from a video. You build it next to someone who has done it.The principle behind every WOODKIT workshop
Every edition is led by an instructor or shaper experienced in WOODKIT workshops: they bring the technique, teach, and run the build. In the US today, that’s Paul Rice of Terrapin Surfboards. In each territory it can be the same instructor or a local one. That’s why someone who has never built a board leaves with one that actually surfs.
Run your first workshop
Host the first workshop with WOODKIT and an experienced instructor. Test the space, the demand, the operation and the numbers with a real group. WOODKIT activates the edition with the setup it needs.
Make it a recurring activity
If it works, keep the setup — rocker tables, shaping stands and equipment — schedule new editions and make the workshop part of your own calendar. With the same instructor, or by developing a local one.
The workshop is the way into your BUSINESS.
Host → first workshop → prove it → keep the setup → repeat → Hub. A new customer, a reason to come back, and credibility with your community.
A Hubnever runs alone.
WOODKIT.PRO is the platform that connects builders, instructors and workshops. The Hub joins as host and local operator.

common
questions
Do I need to know how to build boards?
No. The first edition is led by an instructor or shaper experienced in WOODKIT workshops. The Hub brings the space, the community and local coordination.
What space do I need?
A covered, ventilated space of about 100–150 m² (≈1,100–1,600 sq ft) for 5–6 builders, with power and lighting, where boards, materials and workstations can be left safely between sessions. The reference is about 6 workstations. You don’t need an equipped woodshop: WOODKIT activates the first edition with the setup it needs.
Who brings the participants?
Your community is key: the first edition usually comes from it. WOODKIT provides the system, promotional assets and centralized booking and payments.
What does it cost to get started?
There is no mandatory network-entry investment just to run the first edition. You run the workshop first. If there’s demand to continue, the permanent setup — rocker tables, shaping stands and equipment — and the recurring operating model are defined together.
I already run other activities. Does this fit or compete?
It fits better. Hubs work especially well at surf schools, surf camps, lodging, clubs, schools, makerspaces and shops that already have traffic: the workshop fills quiet days and raises the average spend of people who were already coming to you.
